The 13th Century Moat House is located in the picturesque village of Acton Trussell in the heart of rural Staffordshire, only 1 mile from Junction 13 of the m6 between Manchester and Birmingham, and in close proximity to both the nec and icc. On site parking is available for over 200 vehicles. From the M6, leave at Junction 13 and take the A449 towards Stafford. At the first island, take the first turning right (next to the Argos Distribution Centre) signposted for Acton Trussell, cross the canal bridge and bear right through the village. The Moat House is at the far end of the village, close to the Church. From the A34, at Brocton Crossroads (on the Stafford side of the Chetwynd Arms Public House), turn towards Penkridge, take the fourth turning right and The Moat House is on your left. From Penkridge/A449, at the island in the centre of Penkridge, turn towards Brocton. Continue along this road for 2 1/2 miles. After crossing the canal, take the first turning left. The Moat House is on your left. |
