The hotel was originally built as a rectory.
Today, its grand Victorian façade conceals comfortable accommodation with great views over the beautiful surroundings to the city. Despite its tranquil, idyllic setting, the hotel is just 7 minutes’ walk from Lincoln’s cathedral and the very centre of the city. All of the en suite rooms are bright and individually decorated and most of them have views over the parkland of Lincoln Arboretum. The hotel has 4 family rooms, each with one double bed and one single bed. The family rooms may be used as twins if required. 2 of these rooms can also accommodate an additional extra bed. Please contact the hotel directly to check the availability of extra beds. A baby bath, high chair and early teas are available for younger guests. Be romantic! A 4-poster bed is every lady's dream, as well as most men's! This room has a large queen-size 4-poster solid pine bed that is 5 feet wide (1.5 metres). Getting There

By Car (from the A46/Newark)
- Follow the signs for Lincoln North until you reach the roundabout with the A15 to your left.
- Turn right at the roundabout.
- Continue straight on at the next roundabout.
- Continue on to the T-junction where you have to stop and then turn right, the cathedral is now on your right.
- At the traffic lights, turn left into East Gate.
- Continue on down Langworth Gate to the T-junction, and then turn right into Wragby Road.
- At the traffic lights, go straight on.
- After approximately 200 metres, take the first and only road on the left. This is Upper Lindum Street. Do not miss this turning or you will be in a one-way system.
- Go to the bottom of the street and turn left. The hotel is 200 metres further on, on the right-hand side. |
