By Car: - Take the M6. - Exit at junction 36. - Follow the dual carriageway signposted for Kendal. - Take the first exit for Kendal Town Centre. - Join the one-way system along Highgate. - Turn right into Lowther Street and continue on the one-way system. - After passing the bus station on your left, turn right at the traffic lights into Sandes Avenue. - Go over the bridge and past the Peugeot Garage, then get into the right-hand lane to turn right at the mini roundabout. - Keep going right past the County Hotel into Wildman Street. - Just before the bridge, turn right at the zebra crossing into Beezon Road and the hotel is on your left. From Windermere: - Follow Windermere Road into Kendal past the County Offices. - At the traffic lights turn left into the one-way system along Sandes Avenue. Then as above. There is free parking for 40 cars adjacent to the hotel with a further 65 reserved places at Kendal Station.
